The past couple of weeks my students have been learning how to conjugate -ar verbs in the present tense.  

-ar verb endings

yo = o

tú = as

él, ella, usted (ud.) = a

nosostros = amos

ellos, ellas, ustedes (uds.) = an

Last week, students played the role of newspaper reporter and interviewed the "new foreign exchange" student at our school.  I was quite impressed with the creative questions and responses of the student's.

Next week, students will create an invitation to the Spanish Club Fiesta.  Students will use vocabulary learned from Capítulo 4 - En la Escuela.

When we return from Christmas break, we will begin Capítulo 5 - En el Café.  Students will have the opportunity to design/create a restaurant menu and write a restaurant skit.
